I have my own set of strategies that I use in WSG but I am out to learn. The vast majority of my WSG experience is in running the flag with my druid. I want to use this forum to discuss specific team strategies. I think one strategy that has great potential to focus on controlling the middle. This is one of the hardest strategies for me to contend with as the FR. What if we send 3 in to grab the flag, have 5 focus on controlling the middle and have 2 focus on guarding our flag?
Now I understand that there is no strategy that will work all the time but we have to start somewhere. Please contribute your thoughts.

Your teams going for the flag and defending ours generally tend to work better if you have melee groups, because of the close quarters. If you can get a group of hunters and mages that know what they're doing you can make the midfield an impassible no-man's land for their team. A few rogues at points of entry helps too.
